Congratulations
You guys are absolutely amazing! Those who completed the 4x4x48 challenge or will soon complete it, Congratulations! That is something very few can. It has been an inspiration to watch all the Strava posts at https://www.strava.com/clubs/F3MayChallenge.
What are your goals for the #F3MayChallenge?
Whether you’re aiming to hit a new mileage goal, complete a certain number of workouts, or simply be more consistent, remember: every small step forward is a victory. We’re almost through 2 weeks and this is the time when you’ll lose focus! There will be days when motivation is low or life gets busy, showing up and putting in the work is what sets you apart. Your team is to help motivate each other!
We are truly impressed by what you have accomplished so far. The energy and support you bring to the group inspire everyone around you. “Fitness is not about being better than someone else, it’s about being better than you used to be.” Focus on your own journey and celebrate your personal wins, no matter how small they seem.
To help you stay on track and visualize your progress, we’ve set up: Google Looker Studio Progress Tracker.
Let’s keep lifting each other up and pushing our limits together.
Week 2: 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge – Ending soon!

Week 2’s mini challenge ends Wednesday May 14 at midnight. Those who complete it earn 1000 bonus points by entering anything you want in the: Week’s Challenge row. This could be “1000” ( per the directions on the website) or “I love MayChallenge” or a simple “X” ( per the example here).
What and how you enter, will depend on your personality type and how much you loved the 4x4x48!
Week 3: ‘The Long Walk’

The rules for The Long Walk are simple: just keep moving forward. Could you outlast your own expectations and reach a distance you’ve never achieved before? Don’t worry-we’re not as tough as Stephen King! Our goal is to inspire you to push your boundaries, not to punish you. If you need a bathroom break, take it. If you need to refill your water, go for it. Your health and enjoyment come first!
How far can you go? Maybe your milestone is 13.1 miles, or you’re eyeing a 50K. Could someone break the 100-mile mark? Gather your team, get outside, and see what you’re truly capable of. Challenge each other, support one another, and celebrate every new personal best!
Helpful Tips for Success:
- Socks are gold: Invest in high-quality, moisture-wicking socks and bring an extra pair or two. Blisters can end your walk early-ask others in your region for their favorites.
- Mix it up: Alternate running, rucking, and walking. Changing your pace and muscle groups helps you go farther and keeps things interesting.
- Stay fueled and hydrated: Bring plenty of water and snacks. Eat and drink before you feel thirsty or hungry to keep your energy steady.
- Have a plan: Map your route, know where you can refill water, and let someone know your plans for safety.
- Dress smart: Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and good shoes. Layers help with changing conditions.
- Listen to your body: Take care of hot spots or discomfort early. Stretch during breaks and don’t ignore signs of fatigue or pain.
- Bring friends: Walking or running with others makes the miles go by faster and keeps motivation high. Encourage each other to go just a little farther.
- Set mini-goals: Break the distance into smaller segments. Celebrate each checkpoint-you’ll be amazed how quickly they add up.
Remember: The real victory is stepping beyond your comfort zone and discovering what you’re capable of. Every mile is a win, and every step forward is progress. So lace up, set your sights on a new distance, and let’s see how far you can go-together!
